1-Email Eleanor at victoriablog@yahoo.ca to say hi and to let me know what you want to review- we would hate for people to 'double' review and waste their time
2-Go wild at your playground- take some photos, note what equipment is there and have fun
3- Send me your photos and review
4- Know that you have helped Swings and Roundabouts to spread the word about places to play, or not in your area

5- By submitting a review to us you agree to our terms and conditions- so you best read them first!

 

Rules and regulations

 

IMPORTANT
By submitting a review you agree to the following:

1-You have full rights to the photograph (meaning that it doesn't belong to someone else)
2-When you submit your review to Swings and Roundabouts it becomes the property of Swings and Roundabouts and may be published, edited or used in any reasonable way by the Swings and Roundabouts gang
3-All submissions are voluntary

Submission guidelines (To ensure consistency in reviews):

1- You'll need to decide on a name that you want to appear on your review- it can be your real name, a nickname or what you really wish your parents had named you
2- You must submit at least one digital photo- preferably a jpeg. As much as artsy photos of playgrounds look WONDERFUL, our aim is to show off the equipment so please make sure that your photo does just that
3- Please try not to photograph any people in your picture unless it is yourself or an immediate family member and you give us permission to publish their image.
4- The aims of these reviews is to enable people to make a decision about whether they want to visit a playground or not so please include the following things as the minimum information in your review:

-How many and what type of swings- big kid, toddler, therapeutic, or tire
-How many climbing structures
-What sort of climbing options
-How many and what sort of slides
-Any frills- bouncy animals, roundabouts (merry-go-rounds) seesaws etc
-What base the playground is on- sand, pebbles, mats, woodchips etc
-Are there washrooms
-Is there parking?
-Are there picnic benches

5- The rest of the review is up to you- you are best to look at a few of Eleanor's reviews for examples of how to include all of those things. It's important to Swings and Roundabouts to have reviews with personality so keep them light, interesting, quirky and so on
